Remarks – it may be the largest Austro ungarisch cemetery in Italy; 21487 soldiers are here buried, of which about 10000 unknowns. Soldiers are of various nationalities, such as Austrian, Polish, Ungarisch, Czech, Slovenian, Croat, Serbian and some Russian. 1286 tombstones are distributed on the grass park. Within the cemetery, a small museum is arranged in the gatekeeper building.
Note: shortly before our visit, a car driver lost control of his car and entered in the cemetery, destroying about 30 tombstones.
